AI Engineer – Build & Deploy AI Agents

About the role

We are looking for an AI Engineer to design, build, and iterate AI agents that enhance customer support. You will work with cutting‑edge LLM APIs, Salesforce Agentforce, and retrieval‑augmented generation pipelines to deliver reliable, production‑grade solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and refine AI agents using Salesforce Agentforce, LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere) and related tooling.
• Implement RAG pipelines that connect agents to knowledge bases via vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or pgvector.
• Integrate AI agents with CRM and support platforms including Salesforce, Zendesk, and AWS Connect.
• Debug AI behavior, diagnose hallucinations, retrieval failures, and escalation issues.
• Collaborate with AI Support Architects and Knowledge Engineers to design orchestration and ensure accurate knowledge retrieval.
• Write clean, maintainable Python or Node.js code and maintain system documentation.
• Run evaluation cycles, measure accuracy, and flag regressions.
• Stay up‑to‑date with LLM advancements and emerging AI best practices.

Required profile

• 3+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 1–2 years focused on AI/ML systems.
• Hands‑on experience with LLM APIs and prompt engineering.
• Proven ability to build RAG architectures using vector databases.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Node.js.
• Experience integrating APIs in complex, multi‑system environments.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Zendesk, or AWS Connect is a strong advantage.
