Accounting Supervisor

About the role

The Accounting Supervisor leads the General Accounting function at the Laguna plant, ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time. This role supports the preparation of financial statements and fulfills regulatory reporting requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily General Accounting activities, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Costing, and Inventory management.
• Oversee monthly inventory audits to verify the integrity of goods movement records in plant warehouses.
• Examine and audit transactions and records for accuracy, recommending internal controls to enhance data reliability.
• Ensure consistent adherence to company finance and accounting policies across the department and with related stakeholders.
• Identify and implement process and system improvements that strengthen controls and increase efficiency.
• Coordinate with department heads to provide financial data, operational finance reports, and analysis.
• Manage timely compliance with tax and reporting obligations to BIR, SEC, PEZA, local government units, and other regulatory agencies.
• Support the Finance and Accounting department in achieving its strategic goals and targets.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by top management as needed.
