Accounting Staff

About the role

We are looking for an Accounting Staff member to support our finance team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely reporting. This role will involve working with the general ledger, assisting in month‑end and year‑end close processes, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies.

Key responsibilities

• Record and process financial transactions in the general ledger system.
• Assist in the preparation and reconciliation of financial statements and reports.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Monitor and reconcile accounts to maintain accuracy and completeness.
• Gather and organize data for management reporting and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary financial information and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for audits and financial reviews.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities as needed.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support departmental objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy (BSA) or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in general accounting or a related role is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Competence with Microsoft Word.
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP accounting systems (advantage).
