Accounting Payable Specialist (Hybrid)

About the role

Directio, a global IT services firm, is seeking an Accounting Payable Specialist for its French client that manufactures glasses and works with opticians. The role supports the client’s finance operations by handling invoice processing, expense validation, and payment execution.

Key responsibilities

• Sort, validate and process supplier invoices and supporting documents.
• Obtain and verify approvals for invoices and payment requests according to Delegation of Authority.
• Perform 2‑way and 3‑way matching between invoices, purchase orders and receiving reports.
• Initiate payment runs, secure batch approvals and monitor payment releases.
• Prepare weekly invoice status, aging reports and analytical AP reports.
• Update supplier account statuses and contribute data for CARS Declaration and Balanced Scorecard reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
• Experience working in a hybrid setup (3 days onsite in Alabang, 2 days remote).
• Background in Shared Services or BPO environments handling high‑volume transactions.
• Ability to work additional hours to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Google applications and other MS Office tools.
• Experience using ERP systems with AR, AP and GL modules.

What we offer

• Salary range PHP 18,000 – 22,000 per month.
• Monthly transportation allowance of PHP 4,000 and de‑minimis allowance of PHP 3,600.
