Accounting Manager – Night Shift (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our US finance team on a night‑shift schedule. The role is hybrid, with occasional onsite days, and focuses on overseeing balance‑sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and month‑end close activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly reconciliations of balance‑sheet accounts, including bank, cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accrued liabilities, intercompany and other GL accounts.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies, documenting findings promptly.
• Review journal entries and supporting documentation for accuracy and GAAP compliance.
• Support daily accounting operations such as AP, AR, cash receipts, payroll entries and GL maintenance.
• Prepare reconciliations, journal entries and analyses for month‑end and year‑end close.
• Maintain internal controls, improve reconciliation processes and provide guidance to accounting staff.
• Assist with cash management, bank reconciliations and daily cash monitoring.
• Prepare schedules and documentation for internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting issues and drive process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong GL and reconciliation responsibilities.
• Previous supervisory or team‑lead experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.
