Accounting Manager – Financial Reporting & Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead financial management, reporting, and accounting operations for our retail/FMCG business. You will ensure accurate month‑end and year‑end closes, provide insightful financial analysis, and support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Own month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring timeliness and data integrity.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
• Maintain accounting systems aligned with retail operations, including sales, inventory, shrinkage, and COGS.
• Support annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, variance analysis, and ad‑hoc scenario modeling.
• Manage internal and external audit requirements and ensure tax and statutory compliance.
• Supervise, coach, and develop the accounting team while fostering strong internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Background in retail, FMCG, or distribution is highly preferred.
