Accounting Analyst

About the role

The Accounting Analyst will join Chevron’s finance team in Makati City, supporting the company’s downstream operations in the Philippines. The role focuses on accounts receivable, month‑end closing, revenue accruals and royalty reporting, ensuring accurate financial information for internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue invoices to trade and non‑trade customers and follow up on past‑due balances.
• Apply cash receipts to the correct customer accounts and generate AR aging and sales statistics reports.
• Execute month‑end closing activities, post revenue accrual entries and calculate royalty payments for tax authorities.
• Reconcile trade receivables, allowance for doubtful accounts and miscellaneous AR balances while complying with SOX controls.
• Participate in special projects, process stabilization of newly migrated systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Leverage productivity tools such as data modelling, Power Automate, Powerapps, RPA and data analytics to enhance existing processes.
• Coordinate IUAS‑wide projects, maintain process documentation and ensure adherence to safety and compliance requirements.
