Accountant - Spanish Speaker

About the role

The Accountant will join the Accounting Operations team to support a wide range of financial processes, reporting, and compliance activities. This position requires strong accounting fundamentals and the ability to work closely with senior accountants and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with journal entries, intercompany accounting, accruals, pre‑payments and basic balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain fixed‑asset records, manage headcount‑related cost tracking and bonus allocations.
• Support month‑end revenue recognition, period‑end close, and preparation of preliminary management reports.
• Help prepare statutory financial statements, coordinate external and internal audit documentation, and assist with annual filings, ESG inputs and insurance data.
• Monitor daily cash‑flow activities, perform bank reconciliations and process payments under established controls.
• Support local tax compliance, payroll tax processing and withholding tax documentation, and assist with tax audit preparation.
• Manage property transactions, lease accounting and related documentation in line with applicable standards.
• Identify and drive process‑improvement initiatives across accounting functions and collaborate with Global Business Services teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• 5‑7 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Ability to work under supervision while delivering accurate financial data.
