Accountant – Remote Finance & Accounting Consulting

About the role

Attivo Partners is seeking a resourceful Accountant to join its remote finance and accounting consulting team. You will own critical accounting tasks and help fast‑growing, venture‑backed startups scale their financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day accounting duties across AP, AR, cash management, payroll, fixed assets and general ledger.
• Assist with the monthly close by posting journal entries, reconciling accounts and conducting ad‑hoc financial analysis.
• Maintain regular contact with client teams to ensure high‑quality service and deliverables.
• Support projects and ad‑hoc assignments as needed.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of GAAP.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Enthusiastic, eager to learn and capable of problem‑solving independently.
• Experience with standard accounting software solutions is preferred.
