Accountant – Night Shift (Onsite, Davao)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our client‑focused team in Davao on a night‑shift schedule. You will support multiple client accounting operations, ensuring accurate processing of payables, receivables, and month‑end close activities while maintaining high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounts payable: invoice intake, coding, approval routing, and payment support.
• Handle accounts receivable: record deposits, apply payments, and reconcile customer accounts.
• Research and resolve unapplied cash, posting discrepancies, short‑pays, and payment exceptions.
• Maintain vendor records, W‑9 files, and respond to vendor inquiries.
• Assist with budget preparation, month‑end and year‑end close, and audit documentation.
• Utilize accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, Bill.com, ParishSoft Accounting, and related tools.
• Update tracking activities in Monday.com and coordinate with client relationship managers on financial exceptions.
• Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and compliance with financial standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial record maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
