Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant to support our network of service stations by ensuring accurate financial reporting and effective cash and inventory management. The role involves preparing income statements, monitoring sales data, and maintaining accounting controls at the site level.

Key responsibilities

• Assist service stations in profit optimization and prepare income statements and other accounting reports.
• Review sales reports and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Validate and correct sales data uploads from POS to SAP, including manual adjustments.
• Record cash sales deposits and credit/debit card collections in SAP.
• Review inventory reconciliation statements, assess variance validity, and post monthly ending inventory and in‑plant gain/loss.
• Prepare reports on fuel inventory, sales volume, purchases, and operating income as requested.
• Monitor implementation of accounting systems, procedures, and controls for inventory and cash management.
• Perform end‑to‑end bank reconciliations and other ad‑hoc accounting duties.

Required profile

• At least 6 months of experience in an accounting role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, Accounting Technology or a related field.
• Preferably holds a CPA license.
• Willingness to report to Pasig.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using SAP for financial transactions.
