Accountant I

About the role

Concentrix is seeking an Accountant I to join its Global Bank Reconciliation team. The role reports to the GLSS Manager, Accounting and focuses on accurate recording of cash transactions, timely bank reconciliations, and continuous process improvement within the finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily analysis of cash account transactions and ensure timely posting to the general ledger.
• Prepare accurate cash account reconciliations in compliance with SOX requirements and close open/reconciling items.
• Monitor cash ledger accuracy, investigate discrepancies, conduct root‑cause analysis and propose resolutions.
• Prepare journal entries for short‑term investments, interest income/expense, bank charges and inter‑bank transfers.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and clear unidentified transactions.
• Review business processes and initiate continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality and compliance.
• Provide audit support and ensure adherence to global standards and internal controls.

Required profile

• Experience in cash account analysis and bank reconciliation.
• Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal control standards.
• Ability to perform root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Strong collaboration skills with finance, tax, controllership and other business units.
