Accountant I

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Accountant I to join the accounting team of Continental Tires Manila Business Services. The role supports accurate financial record‑keeping, assists month‑end and year‑end closing, and ensures compliance with reporting standards while reporting to the Production Company Accounting Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts each month, including leasing accounts and accruals.
• Prepare and verify general ledger entries and perform system tasks for month‑end closing.
• Input leasing data from external providers into the lease accounting tool.
• Conduct financial analysis to support management reporting and external reporting requirements.
• Assist in preparing reports for the US Bureau of Economic Analysis and budgeting balance‑sheet items.
• Provide accounting support to the HQ Controlling team and contribute to special projects such as PowerBI reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• High level of integrity and ethics.
• Willingness to work mid‑shift or night‑shift schedules as needed.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment.
