Accountant | Full-Cycle Accounting

About the role

This position owns day‑to‑day accounting operations and the month‑end close for a fast‑growing consumer‑products business. You will ensure financial accuracy, discipline, and visibility across the organization, focusing on P&L integrity, cash awareness, and inventory accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable using Bill.com, processing vendor bills, reimbursements, and credit‑card transactions.
• Maintain clean vendor and customer records and ensure timely payments and collections.
• Bookkeep in QuickBooks Online, categorise transactions, reconcile bank, credit‑card and payment‑platform accounts monthly.
• Own the full month‑end close process, delivering accurate P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
• Track inventory, COGS and movements in standard inventory software, reconcile to physical counts, and support inventory planning.
• Maintain rolling cash‑flow and expense forecasts, and report key financial KPIs such as margin, burn rate, cash runway, and inventory turns.
• Maintain and improve workflows across QuickBooks, Bill.com, inventory software and coordinate with external tax advisors.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with QuickBooks Online or a similar accounting platform.
• Direct experience using Bill.com or an equivalent AP/AR tool.
• Proven ownership of month‑end close and P&L accuracy.
• Inventory accounting experience, preferably in CPG or product‑based businesses.
• High attention to detail, ability to work independently, and clear written and verbal communication skills.
