Accountant – Financial Operations & Gaming Transactions

About the role

The Accountant will manage day‑to‑day financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and support business decisions with financial insights. The role also oversees all financial transactions linked to gaming activities, from revenue monitoring to digital payment reconciliation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including AP, AR, and General Ledger.
• Record, monitor, and reconcile daily financial transactions.
• Prepare and maintain financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate tax filing and compliance with BIR regulations.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Monitor gaming revenue, player transactions, subscriptions, and in‑game purchases.
• Process and validate customer deposits, withdrawals, and payment‑gateway issues.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Operations, Marketing, and other departments to provide financial data.
• Investigate high‑risk transactions and ensure proper tagging and documentation.
• Support internal and external audits and identify process improvements.
• Assist with payroll processing, employee reimbursements, and other finance‑related tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
• Minimum 25 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably in gaming, technology, fintech or digital entertainment.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, BIR regulations, tax compliance and statutory reporting.
• Proven experience preparing financial statements and performing reconciliations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software or ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, financial reporting).
• Experience with digital payment platforms and online transaction reconciliation.
