Web Developer – UI, API & E‑Commerce

About the role

We are looking for a Web Developer who will design, code and modify websites to meet client specifications, delivering visually appealing, user‑friendly interfaces with clear navigation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement website layouts, functionality and navigation based on client requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and executive management to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Plan, develop and deliver web‑based software platforms used across multiple products and organisational units.
• Build and maintain web applications using HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery.
• Integrate and consume APIs and web services (REST, SOAP) to extend application capabilities.
• Ensure cross‑browser compatibility and adherence to web standards.
• Apply security principles, particularly for e‑commerce applications, to protect data and transactions.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of user‑interface design, web standards and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Proven experience communicating with colleagues and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
• Hands‑on experience delivering web platforms across multiple products or business units.
• Deep knowledge of web application development and security considerations for e‑commerce.
