VP, Client Coverage & Credit Management

About the role

The Vice President, Client Coverage & Credit Management will lead the bank’s client relationship and credit strategy in Manila, overseeing portfolio quality, profitability and risk discipline across multiple client segments. Reporting to senior leadership, the role combines business development, investment banking execution and credit risk oversight to drive growth while maintaining rigorous compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure portfolio quality, profitability and risk discipline, complying with internal policies and regulatory standards.
• Lead high‑profile investment banking transactions, including debt/equity capital raises, M&A, valuations and restructuring projects.
• Oversee credit evaluation, deal structuring and advisory activities for corporate clients.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with existing and prospective clients, driving business development.
• Supervise credit assessments, loan portfolio monitoring and performance reporting.
• Contribute to policy development and risk management frameworks.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior credit or client coverage roles within investment banking or financial services.
• Strong track record of managing large loan portfolios and complex financing transactions.
• Deep understanding of credit risk, regulatory compliance and financial analysis.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
