Virtual Assistant – Sales & Business Development Manager (Remote)

About the role

This full‑time independent contractor position supports a North‑American services firm by generating leads, managing client outreach, and handling sales operations. The role is remote, targeting candidates in the Philippines who can work US Central Time business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, research and qualify prospective clients in target industries.
• Conduct outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, CRM sequences and phone calls.
• Prepare customized outreach messages, proposals and capability summaries.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline with consistent follow‑up and nurturing.
• Support partnership development, channel relationships and referral networks.
• Conduct market research to spot trends and new opportunities.
• Assist in creating pitch decks, sales collateral and client‑facing materials.
• Maintain CRM accuracy, update deal stages and track key performance indicators.
• Prepare sales reports, dashboards and performance summaries.
• Manage calendars, schedule meetings and coordinate cross‑team communication.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in sales, client services or business development within a services‑based industry.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work US Central Time business hours (8:30 am – 5:30 pm).
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesmate, HubSpot, Salesforce, Close or Zoho.
