Video Editor

About the role

Eucalyptus, a consumer healthcare platform behind brands such as Pilot, Kin, Software and Juniper, is expanding its creative team to Manila. As Video Editor you will work across several brands and projects, turning owned video assets into content for health and wellness brands seen by millions of people across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Work across multiple brands and projects, adapting your style for each.
• Handle post-production: live-action editing, visual effects, colour grading, sound design and basic animation.
• Create social content, longer-form YouTube content and television-commercial-quality production.
• Repurpose raw footage into new edits, creative assets, cut-downs and reformatted versions.
• Keep footage ingestion and file organisation efficient and well organised.
• Use customer and patient-recorded clips to create engaging content.
• Work with producers to scope projects and deliver optimised assets for each channel.
• Stay up to date with video editing tools and workflows.

Required profile

• Demo reel with your best work.
• 4+ years of experience as a video editor.
• Able to build a strong narrative and work independently to a high standard.
• Solid understanding of social media and online platform trends, and a proven interest in social media, TV and streaming.
• Good written and verbal communication, and comfort in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• After Effects, Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.
• Colour grading and sound design.
• Nice to have: experience with feedback tools such as Iconik or Air.
