Vice President for Facilities Management

About the role

The Vice President for Facilities Management will provide strategic leadership for all operational aspects of a community mall, ensuring safety, sustainability, and high customer satisfaction. Reporting to the Managing Director, this senior role drives efficiency, cost optimisation and long‑term asset performance across building systems, maintenance, security and tenant services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute facilities management strategies aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee daily operations of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, housekeeping, waste management, landscaping and parking.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine laws, OSHA standards, Fire Code and local government regulations.
• Lead safety, emergency preparedness and security programmes, coordinating with third‑party providers.
• Partner with leasing and mall operations to address tenant concerns and enhance the customer experience.
• Prepare and manage the annual CAPEX and OPEX budget, driving cost‑saving initiatives.
• Manage vendors, contractors and service providers, enforcing SLAs and KPIs.
• Implement energy‑efficiency, water‑conservation and other ESG initiatives.
• Lead, mentor and evaluate a team of facility managers, engineers and operations staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or a related field (required).
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related discipline is a plus.
• Proven senior‑level experience in facilities or property management, preferably in a retail or mall environment.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine building codes, safety regulations and ESG best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large, cross‑functional teams and manage multi‑million‑dollar budgets.
