Vice President, Facilities Management

About the role

The Vice President, Facilities Management leads the overall facilities and engineering strategy for a portfolio of commercial properties. This senior position ensures operational excellence, regulatory compliance, asset preservation, sustainability, and cost optimisation while supporting business growth and enhancing tenant experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute facilities management strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
• Oversee performance, maintenance, and reliability of building systems, infrastructure, and property assets across the portfolio.
• Lead budgeting, capital planning, procurement and cost‑optimisation initiatives for facilities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements, and maintain robust risk‑management and emergency‑preparedness programs.
• Build and lead high‑performing facilities and engineering teams, managing vendors, contractors and key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering (advanced degree preferred).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in facilities, engineering or property management, including senior leadership roles.
• Proven track record managing large‑scale commercial, retail, mixed‑use or industrial portfolios.
• Strong financial acumen, stakeholder management and strategic planning capabilities.
