Vehicle Fleet Manager

About the role

The Vehicle Management role oversees the maintenance, repair, compliance and operational readiness of the company’s delivery fleet. You will ensure all vehicles are safe, properly documented and available for daily operations, supporting efficient logistics and transport activities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily fleet operations to keep all vehicles deployment-ready.
• Coordinate repairs, preventive maintenance and body work, tracking status and downtime.
• Maintain and renew vehicle registrations, insurance, OR/CR and other legal documents.
• Manage GPS and fleet monitoring systems to monitor usage, movement and performance.
• Keep accurate records of vehicle history, servicing and repair activities.
• Liaise with external vendors for repairs, insurance claims and leasing services.
• Handle toll fee billing, expense tracking and issuance of vehicle stickers and plate identifiers.
• Update truck deployment schedules and ensure compliance with transport regulations and safety standards.
• Prepare reports on fleet performance, maintenance costs and operational efficiency.
• Identify and recommend cost-saving measures and process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Experience in fleet management, logistics or trucking operations.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle repair and maintenance processes.
• Familiarity with transport and safety regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with GPS monitoring systems.
• Use of fleet monitoring and reporting tools.
