VDC Clash Detection Assistant – Permanent Remote

About the role

We are looking for an experienced VDC Clash Detection Assistant to join our Virtual Design and Construction team on a permanent work‑from‑home basis. You will support the VDC Manager by performing daily clash detection, model coordination, and workflow administration across multiple commercial construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily clash detection using Navisworks across architectural, structural, MEP, and fire‑protection models.
• Assist with model federation and bridging between Revit and Navisworks.
• Track, document, and monitor clash resolution progress for all disciplines.
• Maintain model upload logs, version control, and coordination records.
• Prepare coordination files and support VDC meetings.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve coordination issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in VDC, BIM coordination, or clash detection.
• Proven hands‑on experience with Navisworks clash detection.
• Experience supporting healthcare or other MEP‑intensive projects.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Navisworks (clash detection).
• Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and Revit‑to‑Navisworks workflows.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and broader Autodesk BIM tools.
