User Support Assistant – Finance (Wave ERP)

About the role

Under the direct supervision of the Senior User Support Associate (Wave), the User Support Assistant (Finance) will provide Tier 2 support for end‑users of the Wave ERP system. The role focuses on finance‑related modules of Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP and ensures smooth processing of user requests in line with IOM’s business processes and information‑management standards.

Key responsibilities

• Handle Tier 2 tickets raised by Wave end‑users, diagnosing and resolving finance‑module issues.
• Liaise with internal technical and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and provide timely updates.
• Prioritise and manage multiple support requests simultaneously while adhering to established procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents and solutions in the ticketing system.
• Support integration points with related systems such as Salesforce and SharePoint.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business management or a related field, or a high‑school diploma with at least four years of relevant experience.
• Minimum two years of experience working with finance modules of an ERP system (e.g., accounting, treasury, project budgeting).
• Strong ability to process information, prioritize tasks and follow documented procedures.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills for effective stakeholder interaction.
