User Assistant – System Support (Wave)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is looking for a User Assistant to support its Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP system, known as Wave, and the integrated applications used across the organization. The role is based in Manila and involves providing first‑line system administration and user support in line with IOM’s business processes and information‑management standards.

Key responsibilities

• Complete assigned training and reference materials.
• Monitor system alerts and conduct first‑line investigations.
• Review end‑user issues, apply approved solutions or interim work‑arounds.
• Escalate complex or recurring issues to the supervisor or relevant support groups.
• Collaborate with other support agents to create solution articles for common problems.
• Provide user‑support coverage during regular workdays, evening shifts, and rotating Sunday shifts as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in ICT, systems administration, or a related field with at least two years of relevant experience, OR a high‑school diploma with four years of relevant experience.
• Experience as a system administrator, Linux administrator, or cloud administrator (Oracle OCI experience is a plus).
• Experience managing workflows and approval processes.
• Demonstrated application‑support experience.

Required skills

• Linux administration.
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) – advantage.
• Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP (Wave) familiarity.
• Salesforce and SharePoint knowledge.
• Ability to liaise effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong multitasking, task‑prioritisation, and adherence to established procedures.
