US Tax Manager – Onsite (Philippines)

About the role

TOA Global is seeking an experienced US Tax Manager to lead its North American tax operations from the Philippines. This senior position combines technical tax expertise with team leadership, client relationship management, and digital process optimization.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end tax preparation and compliance for individuals, S‑Corporations, and partnerships, ensuring accuracy and adherence to federal and state regulations.
• Provide final technical review of all US tax filings before submission.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals to meet strict US tax deadlines.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with US‑based clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Identify tax‑saving opportunities and resolve complex tax issues.
• Utilize and optimize modern tax and accounting software, driving continuous process improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of progressive US tax experience.
• At least 5 + years of proven team management experience, preferably in public accounting or an SME environment.
• Deep knowledge of US tax accounting, nexus, and state‑specific filing requirements.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to meet tight deadlines.
