US Tax Manager – Night Shift (Onsite)

About the role

As a US Tax Manager at TOA Global, you will lead the firm’s North American tax practice from the Philippines, overseeing complex individual, S‑Corporation and partnership returns while mentoring a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end tax preparation and compliance for individuals, S‑Corporations and partnerships, ensuring accuracy and adherence to federal and state regulations.
• Provide final technical review of all US tax work and stay current with legislative changes.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of tax professionals to meet strict US tax deadlines.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with US‑based clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Identify tax‑saving opportunities and resolve complex tax issues.
• Leverage tax and accounting software (ProConnect, Canopy, QuickBooks, Xero, Gusto) to improve processes and deliver value‑added services.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of progressive US tax experience and 5 years of team management experience.
• Background as a US Tax Manager in a public accounting firm or SME environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of US tax accounting, nexus and state‑specific filing requirements.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement and deadline compliance.
