US HR Specialist – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a US HR Specialist to join our fully remote team. You will manage day‑to‑day HR operations, ensuring accurate records and a supportive experience for every employee from day one through departure.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute HR documents such as offer letters, employment verifications, and policy acknowledgements.
• Support employee status changes, promotions, transfers, compensation updates, and terminations.
• Respond to employee inquiries about policies, benefits, and HR programs; assist with engagement surveys and recognition initiatives.
• Coordinate interview scheduling, manage job postings, and maintain a positive candidate experience.
• Assist with compliance audits, reporting, and updates to internal HR policies and procedures.
• Provide accurate employee data for payroll processing and HRIS maintenance.
• Facilitate high‑touch onboarding, serve as a point of contact during the first 90 days, and manage off‑boarding, including exit interviews.

Required profile

• 2‑3+ years of US HR specialist experience, preferably in a startup environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with empathy and clarity.
• Ability to quickly learn new tools and adopt a solution‑oriented approach.
• Passion for mental health and alignment with values of compassion, integrity, and high emotional intelligence.
• Willingness to work US business hours.
