US Accounting Manager

About the role

The US Accounting Manager will lead the service delivery team that provides bookkeeping, payroll and sales‑tax support to North‑American clients. Based in the Philippines, you will work night shifts (9 PM‑6 AM PHT) and act as the operational hub ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise a team of bookkeepers, payroll specialists and tax preparers, providing coaching, performance feedback and career development.
• Maintain “zero‑error” standards for all accounting, payroll and sales‑tax deliverables, monitoring workflows and enforcing SOPs.
• Conduct quality reviews and implement controls to meet US regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Client Success Managers to resolve complex client issues and uphold high‑trust relationships.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities, leverage technology and track KPIs to boost efficiency.
• Prepare regular performance and client‑satisfaction reports for senior leadership.

Required profile

• 5‑7+ years of hands‑on experience in US bookkeeping, payroll or sales‑tax preparation.
• Proven track record of managing a team in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Strong knowledge of US accounting principles and sales‑tax regulations.
