Travel Expert – Trainer (MOA)

About the role

This position focuses on designing and delivering training for travel booking systems, customer service protocols, and industry best practices. The trainer will work onsite with shifting schedules, supporting both new hires and existing staff to enhance their performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop clear, engaging training materials and documentation tailored to various learning styles.
• Conduct one‑on‑one and group training sessions covering GDS platforms, Expedia tools, and customer service standards.
• Assess trainee knowledge through practical exercises, role‑plays, and formal assessments.
• Provide ongoing coaching and support to ensure continuous skill development.
• Monitor training effectiveness using feedback and performance metrics, adjusting content as needed.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of travel industry trends and support the creation of SOPs and knowledge bases.

Required profile

• Prior experience supporting the Expedia account or program.
• 1–2 years of trainer experience in a BPO environment.
• Background with GDS platforms and travel‑related accounts is preferred.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, coaching, and communication abilities.
• Experience in curriculum development, adult learning methodologies, and performance coaching.
• Willingness to work onsite and adapt to shifting schedules.
