Travel Counselor

About the role

As a Travel Counselor you will delight Card Members by creating unforgettable travel experiences. You will use personalized fact‑finding to understand each member’s needs and deliver innovative, multi‑channel service that aligns with the Membership First mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Research, plan and execute customized domestic and international travel itineraries, including flights, car rentals and hotel bookings.
• Guide Card Members in maximizing exclusive benefits and Membership Reward points.
• Provide product recommendations based on new and existing offerings and value propositions.
• De‑escalate stressful travel situations and ensure a smooth experience.
• Perform back‑office and callback tasks to maintain high‑quality service.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year travel industry experience within the last two years.
• At least 1 year experience with a Global Distribution System (GDS).
• Minimum 2 years experience in a contact‑centre/BPO environment.
• Basic knowledge of luxury products such as airlines, hotels, cruises, tours, dining, theatre, fashion, sports and events.
• Exceptional customer service, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet or exceed targets for customer satisfaction and sales.
• Creative multitasking ability and willingness to work in a performance‑based environment with regular coaching.
• Strong collaboration skills and willingness to work a rotating 24/7 roster, including public holidays.

Required skills

• GDS (Global Distribution System) proficiency
