Travel Consultant

About the role

As a Travel Consultant at Amex GBT you will join a remote, highly skilled team that supports corporate business clients with their travel needs. You will work from Manila and help travelers experience seamless, policy‑compliant journeys while representing a leading brand in travel technology.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and arrange domestic and international travel for individual and group corporate customers.
• Research travel options, anticipate traveler needs, and promote additional services.
• Book air, road, rail, and accommodation using Global Distribution Systems (Sabre, Apollo, Galileo, Amadeus).
• Ensure compliance with client travel policies, service provider rules, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide professional telephone service, handle special requests, and resolve issues quickly.
• Collaborate with teammates to coach, mentor, and improve service levels.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the travel industry, preferably in business travel.
• Strong client‑service orientation with a proactive, detail‑focused approach.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including afternoon shifts (12‑8 pm) and weekends.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Integrity and respect for personal traveler information.

Required skills

• Native expertise in Sabre GDS.
• Proficiency with Amadeus GDS.
• Experience using Apollo GDS.
• Experience using Galileo GDS.
