Transportation Assistant Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Transportation Assistant Manager to support the Transportation Manager in daily operations across our network. The role involves monitoring fleet performance, planning routes, and ensuring deliveries are on time while maintaining high safety and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Transportation Manager in overseeing daily transportation operations.
• Monitor fleet performance, route planning, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with branches, hubs, and transportation teams to resolve operational issues.
• Track transportation KPIs and recommend process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and transportation standards.
• Supervise transportation personnel and support their daily operational needs.
• Analyze transportation costs and propose cost‑saving initiatives.
• Prepare operational reports and present performance metrics to management.
• Handle transportation‑related incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.

Required profile

• Fluent in Mandarin, English, and Tagalog (spoken and written).
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in transportation, fleet management, logistics or operations with supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel to different branches and operational sites as required.
