About the role

The Transportation Assistant Manager supports the Transportation Manager in daily operations, ensuring that fleet performance, route planning, and delivery schedules meet company standards for timeliness and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Transportation Manager in overseeing daily transportation activities.
• Monitor fleet performance, route planning, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with branches, hubs, and transportation teams to resolve operational issues.
• Track transportation KPIs and recommend process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and transportation standards.
• Supervise transportation personnel and support their daily operational needs.
• Analyze transportation costs and propose cost‑saving initiatives.
• Prepare operational reports and present performance metrics to management.
• Handle transportation‑related incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.

Required profile

• Fluent in Mandarin, English, and Tagalog (spoken and written).
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in transportation, fleet management, logistics, or operations, with supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel to different branches and operational sites as required.
