Tender Engineer – Solar Energy Projects

About the role

INTEC Energy Solutions is seeking a Tender Engineer to join its Manila office. The role focuses on preparing and managing tender submissions for solar photovoltaic projects, ensuring technical and commercial compliance with client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit complete bids to existing and prospective clients, meeting all tender specifications.
• Develop preliminary design assumptions and detailed design drawings, technical specifications, and Bill of Quantities.
• Coordinate with procurement, design, operations, legal and other departments to gather and review information.
• Evaluate supplier technical offers, prepare requests for quotation, and develop technical scopes of work.
• Conduct cost and price calculations and support bid/no‑bid decisions with the Business Development team.
• Maintain communication with customers, suppliers and third parties throughout the tendering process.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years experience in tender preparation or PV design engineering.
• Strong understanding of international industry standards, electrical schematics and PV design.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Ability to work in a multinational environment with no travel restrictions.
