About the role

Sesé is looking for a Senior Procurement Technician to join its Transport team at the corporate offices. The role focuses on cost optimisation, supplier management and the full procurement cycle for assigned categories, supporting the company’s commitment to sustainable and innovative supply‑chain solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Optimise costs through efficient purchasing processes.
• Build and maintain a national and international supplier panel according to company criteria.
• Analyse purchase costs, develop saving strategies and renegotiate supplier terms.
• Achieve service level targets and annual cost‑saving budgets.
• Manage end‑to‑end procurement for assigned categories, including tender preparation and execution.
• Handle daily incidents with suppliers and internal clients, ensuring smooth operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to validate suppliers in line with the purchasing strategy.
• Create and send purchase orders and communicate order status to internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Management or Engineering.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in general purchasing or similar functions.
• Strong orientation to internal and external customers.
• Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
• Analytical mindset with problem‑solving capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in English (mandatory).
• German language skills (valued).
