About the role

Newell Brands is seeking an Electromechanical Maintenance Technician (Level C) to join its manufacturing team. The role focuses on executing preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing technical failures, and supporting continuous improvement projects to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance work orders using the CMMS system.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults on automated machinery.
• Document all maintenance activities and generate technical shift reports.
• Provide technical support and training to operators and new‑hire personnel.
• Participate in reconstruction, upgrade, and improvement projects for equipment.
• Support safety, quality, and productivity initiatives within the manufacturing area.
• Adjust and troubleshoot PLC‑based control systems.
• Diagnose issues with VFDs, servo drives, and stepper drives.
• Update electrical diagrams and technical documentation, including AutoCAD drawings.
• Modify mechanical components to increase equipment reliability.

Required profile

• Technical degree or engineering qualification in Electromechanics, Electronics, Mechatronics or a related field.
• Proven experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic failures in industrial machinery.
• Hands‑on experience with automated equipment and industrial control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, electronic, and control schematics.
