Technician 1 Equipment Maintenance

About the role

Analog Devices is seeking a Technician 1 to maintain and service automated test handlers used in final test, wafer sort and tape‑and‑reel manufacturing processes. The role involves hands‑on equipment setup, calibration, repair and both preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure high‑quality production.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, convert, calibrate, and repair automated test handlers and their sub‑assemblies.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment supporting final test, wafer sort and tape‑and‑reel lines.
• Conduct first‑level verification of yield and quality‑assurance failures, including troubleshooting setups and basic tester debugging.
• Document activities through the MIPS process and submit performance reports.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to drive efficiency and quality improvement programs aligned with TQM Plus principles.

Required profile

• Experience with equipment maintenance in a semiconductor or electronics manufacturing environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug automated test equipment.
• Familiarity with documentation and reporting procedures such as the MIPS process.
• Willingness to work with cross‑functional teams on quality and efficiency initiatives.
