Technical Revenue Accounting Manager

About the role

The Technical Revenue Accounting Manager leads end‑to‑end revenue recognition, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and US GAAP. This senior position oversees month‑end and quarter‑end close, reporting, and audit support while driving process automation and stakeholder alignment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end and quarter‑end close for revenue, preparing and reviewing journal entries, write‑offs, reserves and allowances.
• Provide technical guidance on ASC 606, US GAAP, and complex contract accounting.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual revenue reports with analysis and projections.
• Oversee account reconciliations, including AR and doubtful‑account allowances.
• Act as primary contact for internal and external audits in high‑risk revenue areas.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to standardize approvals and streamline processes.
• Design and implement scalable systems, automated dashboards, and controls using Oracle Fusion, SQL and Power BI.
• Support SOX compliance, internal controls and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience in technical revenue accounting and revenue recognition.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience managing teams.
• Strong expertise in ASC 606 and US GAAP.
