Technical Operations Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Technical Operations Engineer to maintain and support our production environments. The role focuses on ensuring system reliability, performance and operational efficiency across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, application and operational issues.
• Perform data analysis and reporting using SQL queries.
• Configure and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Support system security by applying updates and managing access controls.
• Collaborate with development, QA and business teams to deploy and improve applications.
• Document processes, configurations and troubleshooting procedures.
• Manage customer support tickets within defined service levels.
• Participate in incident response and root‑cause analysis.
• Assist in automating and continuously improving operational processes.

Required profile

• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT or a related field.
• Experience in financial services, derivatives trading or capital markets (Middle/Back Office experience is a plus).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• SQL – MySQL/MariaDB.
• Linux system administration.
• Bash scripting.
• Git version control (advantage).
