About the role

The Technical Instructor will design, deliver and assess technical training programs for aircraft maintenance personnel. You will ensure that training meets regulatory standards, maintain up‑to‑date course materials and mentor trainees to build a competent workforce.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver classroom and hands‑on training based on approved course authorizations.
  • Prepare, update and continuously improve training presentations, manuals and course content.
  • Develop training schedules, classroom activities and practical exercises.
  • Document all training activities accurately and maintain training records.
  • Evaluate trainee performance, provide feedback and ensure consistent training quality.
  • Enforce classroom discipline, safety procedures and learning standards.
  • Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting support and mentorship to trainees and fellow instructors.
  • Act as an examiner or panel member for technical assessments when required.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering or related field.
  • Valid CAAP AMT license with Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) rating OR valid CAAP AMS license with Radio, Electronics & Instrument ratings.
  • Minimum of two aircraft type ratings.
  • Completed the technical course(s) to be taught within the last 24 months.
  • Current certifications in Human Factors in Maintenance, Fuel Tank Safety, Safety Management System, Ramp Safety and Train‑the‑Trainer.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation and instructional abilities.
