Tax Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Specialist to join our finance team in Manila. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Philippine tax regulations, preparing and filing a range of tax returns, and providing tax support to various internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Prepare and file corporate, income, sales, and property tax returns.
• Conduct regular tax audits and reviews to identify risks and opportunities.
• Research tax laws and regulations to uncover potential tax benefits.
• Develop and implement tax strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with auditors and tax authorities to maintain compliance.
• Analyze financial data for tax implications and potential savings.
• Use data‑analytics tools to monitor tax trends and risks.
• Provide tax support to finance, accounting, and legal teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in tax compliance, preferably in technology or transportation.
• CPALE Passer certification.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
