Tax Senior Associate

About the role

CohnReznick Philippines is seeking a Tax Senior Associate to join its growing Tax Team. The role is hybrid, with an expectation of three days per week in the office, and involves leading client engagements and collaborating with senior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the engagement lead on specific client accounts.
• Take responsibility for pre‑engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables.
• Develop detailed engagement work plans, budgets and schedules.
• Actively participate in proposals and business development activities.
• Manage a team of staff associates and interns, providing coaching and performance feedback.
• Maintain effective client communication and provide clear direction to the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Accounting/Taxation preferred.
• CPA, JD or EA designation preferred.
• Minimum 3‑5 years of US tax experience in a public accounting firm.
• Experience with multistate income tax and fiduciary (trust/estate) tax is a plus.
• Strong client service, communication, research and writing abilities.
• Project management and organizational skills with ability to multitask.
• Willingness to travel to meet clients.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Tax compliance and research software: Go Systems, BNA Portfolio & Projection, CCH, RIA.
