Tax Preparer

About the role

DOXA is seeking an entry‑level Tax Preparer to join its remote Philippines team. This full‑time position offers the chance to develop core tax competencies while supporting a diverse client base under the guidance of experienced Tax Managers.

Key responsibilities

• Review client financial documents and prepare individual, S‑corporation, C‑corporation, LLC, and partnership tax returns.
• Assist with corporate income tax, pass‑through entity, and individual compliance work.
• Conduct tax research to identify deductions, liabilities, and filing requirements.
• Communicate with clients to gather information and clarify tax issues.
• Respond to IRS and state notices, and help set up installment agreements.
• Prepare adjusting journal entries and reconcile accounting records to tax returns.
• Collaborate with Tax Managers to incorporate feedback and meet deadlines.

Required profile

• Entry‑level or early‑career tax professional eager to build technical skills.
• Advanced English proficiency (B2+ – C1).
• Residing in the Philippines and able to work remotely.
• Full‑time availability (9 AM – 6 PM PDT / 12 AM – 9 AM PHT) and adherence to Philippine holidays.
