Tax Preparer (CPA) – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team as a Tax Preparer. The role involves preparing individual tax returns, creating financial statements, and providing high‑quality customer service for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Review and prepare individual tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax codes and regulations.
• Create, review, and analyze financial statements using QuickBooks.
• Maintain client bookkeeping records, reconcile accounts, and generate financial reports.
• Utilize tax software such as Lacerte or QuickBooks Online to facilitate tax preparation.
• Organize and present financial data using Excel and maintain well‑structured records of all transactions.
• Communicate via Outlook and MS Teams for email correspondence, scheduling, and task management.

Required profile

• CPA certification in the Philippines.
• At least 1 year of experience in tax preparation, bookkeeping, or a related accounting role.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to handle high‑volume work during tax season.
• Stable internet connection (minimum 100 Mbps) and a suitable laptop.
• Willingness to work up to 60 hours per week during the January‑April tax season.
