Tax Officer

About the role

The Moment Group is seeking an exceptional Tax Officer to join its team in Makati City, Metro Manila. As a full‑time role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the company’s tax compliance and providing strategic tax advice to support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns, including income tax, value‑added tax, and other relevant obligations.
• Conduct research and analysis to identify tax planning opportunities and mitigate tax risks.
• Provide tax advisory services to finance, operations, and legal departments.
• Stay up‑to‑date with changes in tax laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure tax compliance and strategic alignment.
• Assist in tax audits and liaise with tax authorities as needed.
• Mentor and train junior tax professionals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy.
• 2–5 years of experience in a tax‑related role.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency in tax software and tools.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work onsite in Makati.
