Tax Officer (CPA Required)

About the role

LH Paragon, Inc. is seeking a qualified Tax Officer to manage day‑to‑day tax operations. Reporting to the Tax Director, you will ensure accurate and timely preparation, filing, and compliance of all tax obligations for the company.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily tax compliance activities, maintain tax records, and coordinate with internal departments for accurate reporting.
• Liaise with the BIR, LGUs, and other government agencies for filings, assessments, audits, and fieldwork.
• Prepare tax provisions, reconciliations, and tax‑related schedules for month‑end and year‑end closing.
• Support BIR examinations, tax audits, and internal/external audit documentation.
• Monitor updates to tax laws and BIR issuances, implement compliance initiatives, and flag tax risks.
• Produce tax reports and analyses for management and perform other finance‑related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
• 1–2 years of corporate tax experience covering income tax, VAT, withholding and local taxes.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws, BIR regulations, and financial reporting standards.
• High integrity, attention to detail, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis).
