Tax Manager

About the role

The Tax Manager will lead OnePH Market’s tax reporting and compliance functions, ensuring adherence to Philippine tax laws and regulations. Reporting to the CFO, the role drives strategic tax planning, manages audits and supports cross‑functional teams across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accurate and timely filing of all tax returns (Income Tax, VAT, withholding tax).
• Develop and implement strategic tax planning initiatives to minimise liabilities and identify savings opportunities.
• Lead tax audits and dispute resolution processes, including negotiations with the Bureau of Internal Revenue and third‑party auditors.
• Monitor legislative changes, advise management on impacts, and update internal policies accordingly.
• Coach and mentor tax associates, fostering skill development and business acumen.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as finance, regional tax departments, and department heads, as well as external parties including BIR, vendors and audit firms.

Required profile

• Graduate of a four‑year BS Accountancy program; CPA preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in finance or taxation, with supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
• Advanced degree and proven ability to meet government reporting deadlines.
• Deep expertise in tax compliance and strong knowledge of Philippine corporate tax laws and regulations.
