Tax Associate – Advisory & Compliance

About the role

Join a leading professional services firm as a Tax Associate, providing strategic tax advice to both local and overseas clients. You will work in a hybrid environment, supporting business analysis, indirect tax management, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on local and international tax affairs and act as a strategic consultant.
• Identify and mitigate tax risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations.
• Develop and implement tax strategies that align with business and operational goals.
• Resolve disputes with tax authorities and manage tax accounting and reporting issues.
• Participate in projects covering international tax, mergers and acquisitions, state and local tax accounting, regulatory processes, and tax reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an accountancy‑related program (e.g., Management Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, Financial Management) or equivalent.
• Open to fresh graduates; relevant internship experience is a plus.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid setup.
• Ability to give constructive, in‑the‑moment feedback and collaborate effectively.
• Proactive in identifying improvements and handling data responsibly.
• Commitment to risk management, compliance procedures, and staying up‑to‑date with tax developments.
