Tax Analyst

About the role

The Tax Analyst will support the company's tax compliance function by preparing and filing tax returns, coordinating audited financial statements, and ensuring all tax‑related documentation is properly maintained. This role works closely with internal teams and government agencies to meet statutory deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file tax returns for assigned companies, including all required attachments, to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).
• Assist in the submission of Audited Financial Statements (AFS) and other required documents to government agencies.
• Monitor tax compliance of companies, their branches, and properties with Local Government Units (LGU).
• Maintain organized, secure records of tax‑related documents and correspondence.
• Ensure timely filing of tax returns, AFS, and LGU requirements.
• Provide support on other tax‑related matters as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• Professional License in Accountancy is an advantage.
• At least 1 year of experience in taxation.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Familiarity with BIR applications such as Data Entry, Alphalist, and eFPs.
• Strong analytical, communication, and time‑management abilities.
• Demonstrated teamwork, integrity, professionalism, and sense of ownership.

Required skills

• MS Office proficiency.
• Use of BIR applications (Data Entry, Alphalist, eFPs).
